What is Henri Ken Blogs?

 

Henri Ken Blogs started as a simple way to share my love of writing, language, and storytelling. First and foremost, this is a space to swap tips, learn together, and build a friendly community of writers and learners.

I’ve always believed that writing gets better when it’s shared. Whether it’s a handy trick to make your essays flow more naturally, a storytelling technique that suddenly makes a scene click, or just a bit of encouragement on a rough draft, this space is here to make those lightbulb moments happen more often.

​

Our goal is to keep things practical, affordable, and welcoming — no gatekeeping, no jargon, just genuine support and shared enthusiasm.

​

As part of that, we offer feedback on people’s work that’s constructive, clear, and kind. Writing is personal, and getting feedback can feel daunting, so we make sure it’s something that actually helps you grow.

I'm hugely creative and very passionate about writing for both for adults and young adults. I love all things speculative and tinged with "magic", and sometimes write poetry on the side. I'm also an editor for an online writing magazine called 'Bookmarked'​ and have a thriving passion for visual arts – something which has been buzzing about inside of me since a very young age.

Tuition

​

I teach creative writing and English on a 1:1 and group basis to young people aged 11-16 for part of the week. Alongside the blog and feedback, I also provide tuition for young people. My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s pace and needs. I focus on creating a space where students feel heard, supported, and genuinely enjoy learning. Whether it’s building confidence with language, sharpening essay skills, or discovering a passion for storytelling, my approach is all about making learning feel less like a chore and more like something they can own and enjoy.
