Hi! I’m Henri,

A quick snapshot of me:

As I write this – on the 22nd of July 2024 – I am 23 years of age. I was born in 2001 in South Devon, which is where I've lived all my life. I live with my mum and her partner, my three younger siblings, as well as seven cats, two dogs, a bearded dragon and half a dozen ghosts– although there are probably more! (We live in a thatched longhouse that was built back in 1473)

I'm currently studying for a BA(Hons) in Creative Writing with the Open College of Arts. I'm very passionate about writing longer fiction for adults and young adults, speculative fiction (anything surreal or tinged with magic) and sometimes also write poetry on the side. I'm also an editor for a student-led writing magazine entitled 'Bookmarked'

I have a thriving passion for visual art also– something which has been buzzing about inside of me since a very young age. My main focus is an emergence of the real and unreal, typically capturing subjects such as cats and landscapes in a fantastical, intricate illustrative style. 

​
